About the artist
Dr. Miller Anderson is currently working on a new series incorporating photographic collages, digital textile printing and embroidery. Her work is signed as K.M. Anderson.

Textile Fine Art
Each image is a photographic collage made up of multiple elements, which were individually photographed by the artist. The final collage is digitally printed on silk then embroidered.

Grants and awards
Dr. Miller Anderson has been awarded the Regional Artist Project Grant (RAPG) 2006-2007 from the United Arts council in order to complete her new series. The Regional Artist Project Grant (RAPG) Program receives major funding from United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County and the North Carolina Arts Council, an agency funded by the State of North Carolina and the National Endowment for the Arts. In addition, Dr. Miller Anderson was recently awarded the 2007 Linda A. Ironside Fund for the Arts Award from the Triangle Community Foundation.
